Yuna

Interactive 3D cabin

Explore Yuna

Yuna is an explorable sci-fi cabin built in Blender and brought to the browser as a real-time 3D scene. The room is filled with small, personal details: photographs, drawings, a lunar calendar, an iPod, and a recessed CRT television.

The cabin is based on original artwork by @hitsujigoods. All illustrations and character designs featured in the 3D scene are hers.

Visitors can open the sliding door, look into the corridor, and pick up props to turn them over in the light. The television moves between a film, an animated terminal, shop screens, and a hand-drawn wireframe globe, all passed through the same custom CRT shader.

The production work became an exercise in preserving atmosphere under a real-time budget. I built a repeatable Blender-to-GLB export workflow, reduced and split the scene geometry, stripped replaced textures, cached reflection captures, and limited expensive shadow and reflection updates to the moments when they are visible or moving.
